Not sure what to say?

I was a lifeguard at Vallejo Plunge in 1958, and I remember his older brother and sister bringing him to the pool and watching him just learning to enjoy the water as a toddler. RIP Ernie

thinking of you this holiday season. I will see you soon bro...

I just found out about Ernie´s passing today. I´m gutted. I loved him so much! I knew him when he lived in Grass Valley and I have many good memories with him. I loved our conversations, his sense of humor and that smile! My heart and prayers go out to his family.

God Bless you Ernie though I did not know you well you were dating my neighborhood friend Cindy. You had that classic car and you came to a couple of my parties and the most thing I remember about you is your smile and your sense of humor. RIP -Von Stafford

Ernie was my neighbor up in Grass Valley. gutted to see he has passed. We spent a lot of time together back then as he lived just down the road from me. We used to sit in the rain in his teepee listening to the wind and rain. Ernie did landscaping work in GV. I nick-named him Ernie Moto...We used to laugh about that too. He and his orange datsun pickup. Sleep well my friend. I will see you soon enough...

To Ernie's family. I am sorry to hear of his passiing. I lived on Edgemont until I was. 7 years old but I knew him longer because my grandparents and parents were in Sons of Norway so I also knew your parents to. I am so sorry for your loss and RIP Ernie I will miss you.

Dear Turheim family, I was saddened to hear that another one of my classmates has passed. Ernie was such a beautiful person and always had a smile to share. I never knew that he was such a a talented artist. I would love to see some of his work. I've been told he went to Cooper elementary school, although I never met him there. I also attended there is from K-6 grade. My prayers are with your family. Sincerely, Classmate of 1973

It's been over 50 years however I've never forgotten your smile. R.I.P.

My Dear Ernie thanks for all the kindness through the years... I still remember all the Edgemount park buddies {GANG} those were the good ole days... I have always held dear the day we drive in your light green torino I believe it was to your house from school to have lunch and you barbecued some deer hamburgers and until this day i can recall how good they we're... To the Family you "ALL" are in our PRAYERS now and always... Ernie, again thank you for always being a great friend and we "ALL"...
