Rosanne and family, my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family of the passing of your husband and father, friend Ernie Turner. I had the pleasure of meeting and hiring Ernie back in 1988 during my time at Southcentral Foundation. I was very inspired of his story and the importance of never giving up on the active drinker. A very gentle man yet with a heart the size of a giant. He never judge and saw the beauty in all of us. He will be missed by many. Blessing to you all. P J...

I will dearly mis you Ernie; all my best wishes to Roseanne and family on their healing journey. Ernie was my mentor in the field; I retired after 16 years and took 4 years off to care for myself and family - just like Ernie taught me. Now I'm back in the saddle again and just pray that Ernie's Spirit will bless my words that come out of my mouth when I help those in need here in Alaska again. Ernie, we'll have so much stories to share when I meet you in paradise a long time from now.

Mr. Turner lived a life of a true warrior as an example for all walks of the world. I met Ernie 36 yrs ago who spent his time with those who were less fortunate. He encouraged, empowered those to accept, forgive, taking each day at a time. He was Gods sent who would speak or acknowledge those which others would just walk on by. My prayers and thoughts to his family. May The Lord Bless Thee And Keep Thee, God Will Never Forsake Thee.

Mr. Turner lived a life of a true warrior for all walks of the earth. I met Ernie 36 yrs ago. A man of Gods sent who encouraged, empowered to those that were less fortunate. Spoke to those which he noticed some would just walk by without acknowledging or accepting each person as to who they are, where they have been, believing each person what they can become. My prayers are with family. May God Bless Thee and Keep Thee he will never forsake Thee.

My deepest sympathies to Earnie's family. I met Earnie while at Lakeside-Milam in Sept '07. He was indeed a gentle giant....a great man who understood a weakness in his fellow man and made a difference. One of a kind that will not be forgotten.
