Ernest Leverne Tyler

Ernest Leverne Tyler, 55, husband of Marie Jones Tyler died Saturday, January 28, 2023, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center after an extended illness.

Ernest was born June 9, 1967, in Marion, South Carolina, the son of the late Frank James Tyler and the late Mary Alice Porter Tyler. He had worked as a Machine Operator at Purdue Farms Inc. in Dillon.

Surviving Ernest in addition to his wife of the home, Rose Marie Jones Tyler, are his two daughters: Lisa Tyler and Kayla Tyler, both of Marion; his son, Ernest Tyler of Marion; a grandchild; his brother, Larry Tyler; and two sisters, Barbara Whaley and Faye Tyler.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, February 4, from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Mullins Freewill Baptist Pentecostal Faith Holiness Church.

A Funeral service for Mr. Tyler will be held Sunday, February 5 at 3:00 P.M. at Mullins FWBPF Holiness Church, with Rev. Matthew Tyler presiding. Burial will follow in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
