Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. We were neighbors in Palm Springs. I remember working in the yard Saturday mornings and Ernie would stop by with donuts or croissants or fruit or some bargain he couldn't pass up while shopping. Such a generous, caring, loving man. I've missed him so much since he moved back to Portland. He is someone I was blessed to know and will never forget.

So sorry to hear that such a dear friend passed away. I will always have the fondest memories of Ernie growing up and I will keep him close to my heart forever. He was truly a hoot and knew how to live life.

So sorry for your family's loss.

With deepest sympathy,

-Marjorie Bush ( Sally Bushs daughter)

I didn't know Ernie well, but he and Monty brought the most wonderful part of my life into the world; my little Yorkie Max. I met Ernie and Monty in Palm Desert thru Lindi and i moved from there 8 yrs ago. I've often wondered how Ernie was doing, but just ran across a photo of him holding the 3 puppies in Max's litter right after they were birn. He called them "little walnuts". My Max is the light of my life and it's the sweetest, most well behaved, and smartest little guy, and i know his...

I was one of Ernie's students at Hillsboro High School. I loved his pearl bowtie! I thought he was a wonderful and talented art teacher. I ran into him a many years later at an exotic bird show. He still remembered me...

OUR Ernie..... redefined RIP...

He's Resting In PURPLE.....

Thanks for the memories and smiles and stories...

Mr Weaver knew the names of each student who attended Hillsboro High School not limited to those who were in his art classes. He would stand outside his classroom door and monitor the hall activities between classes giving us all a smile, an encouraging word or a reminder not to run in the hall or up and down the stairs. He's been part of my High School memories and retold stories over the years. As students we were lucky to have techers who cared at Hilhi. I'm sure he touched the hearts of...

To the family, so very sorry for your loss, your precious family will remain in our prayers. As you take each day one step at a time and hold on to the loving memories of your loved one, may God grant you strength to see each day through. 2 Corinthians 4:7

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Ernie's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, may that bring you comfort in this time of sorrow.

Ernest was a young art teacher at Hillsboro High School in my school days. I send sympathy to the family upon your loss.
