Not sure what to say?

Hap was a wonderful Man! He always gave me a big smile and made me feel welcomed. I love that Mary Lou had a loving and supportive partner in life and love, and I know how heartbreaking this is for her to lose her guy. He will be truly missed! xox Fly High sweet Soul

Hap will be missed in the neighborhood!

I'm sorry somehow the service didn't post in the obit. Eggen & Lance November 29th at 11:00 am. 1540 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa. srmel.com for those that can't make it but would like to join livestream. Link on website. Go niners!

Hap Wheale was a really good man in every sense of the word. Smart, educated (there IS a difference), great personality, quick wit, articulate and in a word "cool." There was nobody on the Highway Patrol cooler than Hap Wheale. We worked together for seven years in Marin County and though we never partnered (he was on his motorcycle), if we worked the same shift, we would always have breakfast together. I'll miss you Hap. You were the best. Bud Syme

Happy will be sorely missed! He was an incredible person and best friend and husband to my dear friend. He was kind, even taking a Packers fan to a Niners game. Sending prayers and love for comfort to his family as they navigate his passing, Dina Levine and Dave Mitchell

I´m so happy that you were a part of our family and more importantly, a part of Mary Lou`s life. Thank you for loving my sister. I have so many fond memories of family dinners, and vacations. You were always kind and thoughtful. I definitely appreciated all the times you drove when Mary Lou and I wanted to go wine tasting Your presence will be missed. May you rest in peace Hap
