Not sure what to say?

Reminded today of Ernie’s passing 5 years ago. I look forward to seeing and hearing him on the guitar and meeting his lovely wife. Rochester is very close to my wife’s and mine hearts. When I get to heaven I am going to be looking for my Rochester family that has gone on before me including our buddy, Ernie. Praying for his family and friends today.

R.I.P. Ernie.

Love and prayers to the family of Ernest Woodbury Ernie was a great guy. actually he was my brother in law by marriage. He was married to my husbands sister Betty I am so glad we, Jackie and I went to visit earlier this year. We took him out to eat. He had a great time May God comfort you in your sorrow We will think of him often. Really sorry.Love and prAYERS

Whenever I drive through town I still "see" Ernie. He was never one to stay cooped up.
I know I'll see him helping out at the Salvation Army building, people watching at the Lilac Mall, scooting around on his scooter by Wellsweep Acres, or chatting someone up at the Rochester Manor.
I'll never forget Ernie. he was (is) part of Rochester.

It is so amazing to hear all these stories about my Grandpa. I new he was an amazing man but I didn't realize how amazing. He never bragged about anything, didn't really talk about it. Guess that is the sign of hero, a man devoted to God's work. Thank u

To the Woodbury family,
Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Jim and Darleen Drown

Ernie,
Going back down memory lane, I remember numerous times when our local fire departments would get together to fight some big fire somewhere and the Salvation Army would do what they could to help out.
You and another gentleman would always spring into action to get out the old Salvation Army food bus/wagon (or whatever they called it)to bring some meals to the firemen.
I remember one time the old clunker initially wouldn't start but I could see that look of determination on...

I loved to see Ernie play the guitar and his smile was contagious. Praying for family and friends.

RIP Uncle Ernie. You always brought a smile out of everyone. Love you
