To the family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I had just recently been back in contact with Erestine, we had worked together at Public Aid for many years. She was such a great woman and I enjoyed my time with her. She will be missed!

SHE IS A VERY LOVELY LADY TO WORK WITH AND I AM SO SURPRISE TO SEE HER IN THE OBITUARY YESTERDAY. SHE HAS TAUGHT ME A LOT WORKING WITH PUBLIC AID. I WILL MISS YOUR MOTHER VERY MUCH AND WILL KEEP HER IN MY HEART. LOVE YOUR ERNESTINE.

Hiram and family, my wife and I send out our heart felt condolences on the passing of your mother. I always have fond memories of Ms Mathis when I think back on the times we spent in Springfield. I'm honored to have met her and to have had the experience of eating her delicious, slamming collard greens!
