Rest in peace my sweet friend. I will always treasure the memories with you, Vicky, Norma and Pepper. What a fun time we had in Bucktown in high school.

I remember Ernie and Janet coming to see our Grandmother and I. He always had a smile on his face and youcould tell that he loved Janet and the girls with all his heart. For-that I want to thank him because they deserved all the love he could give and they loved him also Janet my heart goes out to you and the girls and grandchildren. I love you very much. If you need to talk or anything please call. You know you have always been my favorite and ee were always more like my sister. ...

RIP Uncle Ernie, I´ll always remember the music you played when we were a child. Particularly the song my name is Michael never forgotten fond memories.

Ernie is simply one of the greatest men I´ve ever been lucky enough to know, let alone consider a great friend and mentor. He made his community a better place than it was before him and because of him. My heart and thoughts are with his incredible wife and beautiful family. God´s speed Ernie D.

Most of us new Ernie for many, many years and have wonderful stories affecting each one of us. Each and every one of us share our thoughts and prayers for Ernie and his family, We, as a group have made a donation to the Grant County Humane Society in honor of our friend, Ernie. May he rest in piece. From the "Saturday Morning Breakfast Club".

My deepest condolences to Janet and family. Ernie was a very kind soul! Love and prayers

Janet, girls, and family: My heart is heavy. I've known Ernie 50+ years. He leaves me many memories. Ernie and I ran a machine together for over a year and I also had the wonderful opportunity to spend countless nights with Ernie, Pepper, and Norma. I had breakfast with Ernie just before Christmas and we shared a memorie from years ago which gave us both a good laugh "I took Ernie ginseng hunting, he got poison Ivy all over him" He said he looked up ginseng in Websters Dictionary and it...

Dear Janet and girls, my prayers and thoughts are with all of you and your family. Ernie was a good man, he will be missed.

So many memories to share! He was such a genuinely nice guy! Loved the Christmas Eve days at "The Club". George and I looked forward to it.
