Not sure what to say?

This is a late entry, although I was alerted the day Ernie died. My association with Ernie began with his appearance at a Vincentian football banquet in '56 and continued at family picnics at his home in East Greenbush while I was dating his first cousin, Diane Streck.
He was always a complete gentleman. He is remembered weekly in my mass intentions.

We knew Ernie back in the '70's, sold him a VW from our dealership in Richardson....Great guy, enjoyed ten years of friendship in Dallas. Ernie is remembered fondly, RIP Ern! See you on the other side.
Sympathy to Jill and family,
Bobbie Short
Formerly of North Dallas

I met Ernie in 1979 when I was trying to make the Dallas Cowboys. Although I was there for a short period through camp, I found that Ernie was a real genuine personality. He once told me I reminded him of Walt Garrison which I will always take as a great compliment. May God bless his family at this difficult time, and always celebrate his life as he was truly a great man, and a big reason why Dallas had the success they did at the time. God Bless

Uncle Ernie, Justin and I love you so much! So glad we got to see you and hug you when you came to visit my parents! Now you are in a better place, together with my father who has also left us. Love to you forever, Juliet

I have been a fan of the Cowboys and and their coaches like Tom and Ernie for many years. They have given me many hours of great times. I had a lot of respect for those fine coaches. Our prayers are with the family and loved-ones in their great lost.

Another good man joins the ranks up yonder.

Carol, I am so very sorry to hear about your dad. You and your family are all in my prayers.

To J.J. and Family,

My thought and prayers are with you (J.J.) and your family during this time. I went to school with J.J. at ESS and I spent many days and night in Highland Shores. "Weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning." Just remember he is in a better place.
Love
Nicole

I have been Cowboys fan since the
mid-1970's and was a fan not only
of the players but the coaches too.
So sorry to hear that Ernie passed
away.
God bless the Stautner family.
