Not sure what to say?

Ann, Michelle and Amanda,

We were so saddened to hear the news of Ernie's passing. So many memories to list them all. We remember when Michelle was a baby and Ernie would quote the Wizard of Oz by heart from keeping your little one entertained. My Mom just moved to assisted living a few weeks ago and when we were cleaning out her house we found a basket of fake flowers that Ernie "appropriated" for my Mom from an ajoining wedding at the Holiday Inn, weird that that just happened. ...

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughs are with everyone and I am always here.

He is a good friend that will be greatly miss.

On behalf of all Ernie's Golfing buddies in the DGA, we extend our sincere sympathy during this difficut time. We all enjoyed playing golf with Ernie because he was so passionate about the game. We will think of him often and miss him more.

GOD Bless you all.

Ann & girls, words cannot express my sorrow for the untimely loss of my favorite Uncle. He was there to walk me down the isle despite his overwelming nervousness. God love him. I didnt even care if his socks didnt match!

ANN, MICHELLE AND AMANDA, OUR SYMPATHIES ARE WITH YOU AND OUR HEART GOES WITH YOU. WHAT A PLEASURE KNOWING ERNIE. HE'LL BE MISSED BUT ALWAYS REMEMBERED. LEE PECK, MARY, MICHELLE

We started missing Ernie the minute he left the Water Division for Federal Services at B&V. We are sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. We had alot of fun working with him and hearing his golf stories. You are in our thoughts and prayers- Ernie was a great friend. Nancy Hendrick & Dawn Buchanan - Black & Veatch Water

Aunt Ann and Girls,Please accept our deepest sympathy. When my mother told me of his passing,I thought of all the times as a kid hanging out with my Uncle.Riding on his chopper, rabbit hunting at Box Canyon teaching me how to shoot, and him waking me up at 2am to fill newspaper machines. Those summers I will never forget.Ann,if you need anything do not hesitate. We are truly sorry for your loss.

Ann, Michelle & Amanda,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. When I think of Ernie it puts a smile on my face. What a great guy!! His smile, his laugh and his stories will be remembered. Please know that if you need anything we (the Decker's) are here for you.
