Dear Anderson Family,
It was an honor to have Errol as a neighbor on the beach. He was always a very kind character. We usually would run into him at the little Arletta store where he seemed to go often for a small item and a dose of chit chat. He will be missed.

I remember when Jane and Errol moved to Arletta, just a few houses down the beach from me. Whether it was the first time I walked down the beach to introduce myself and welcome them to the neighborhood, or it was throughout the years we just chatted on the beach, he was always warm and inviting...a compassionate gentleman. He loved sharing little stories about his 'kids' and later grand-kids. I loved the way he viewed the environment as a friend - life long companion sort of speaking, and...

I first got to know Andy (& Jane ) through The Transportation Club of Seattle where he served on the board of directors, including a year as President of the Club. Andy's quiet, and wise wisdom, along with his special friendship to many will be missed greatly in the transportation community.

Please accept our sincere sympathy at the loss of your Dad. What wonderful neighbors we had in Errol and Jane. Errol had great "radar" and always showed up for our current beach, house or yard project. In his later years he didn't physically help, but he could usually explain a smarter way to accomplish whatever it was that we were trying to do--and we were grateful for his expertise! He told wonderful stories of his childhood in Canada,...
