Not sure what to say?

Errol was my mentor teacher at Taft High. What a beautiful individual! He will always be the best example of kindness, encouragement, wisdom, humor, and love. I will never forget him and the countless things he did for everyone around him. I miss him so much.

I was on Leadership Council with Errol at Taft High School-where he and I became friends.
My two children were two of his students-he taught them so much!
We are all so sorry for your loss.

Mr. Jacobs was my 8th grade English teacher at Audubon Jr. High in the early 60s. He was memorable. He was smart, demanding, dapper, and opinionated. He taught us to read and think about newspapers, magazines, advertising and the media's power to influence thought. It was eye opening stuff. His lessons opened our minds, for which I have always been grateful.

I was very sorry to hear of "Mr. Jacobs" passing. My condolences to the family. He was my teacher at Taft in 1971 and 1972. By far he was my favorite teacher in high school. He was very funny and always made things interesting--to say the least!

Dear Lynne and Brenda....with great sadness and many wonderful memories of you and your brother, I send my sympathy for the loss you are feeling,
Shirley Gaynor Colodny, Florence, MA

I was a student at Taft and spent several semesters with "Mr. Jacobs". He was by far my favorite teacher. Ever. And he taught me a love of writing and literature that persists today. I'm sorry he had to go through Parkinson's. I remember the Shakespeare sonnets he taught just as I remember the poster of the Clash (London Calling) on the wall in the classroom. He was cool. I spent 1978-1981 with him. I will never forget him.

He was such a lovely man, we always enjoyed our time with him. He leaves a giant hole in the hearts of many.

I was a student in Mr. Jacob's World Literature class at Taft High in the 70's and have never forgotten him. He was brilliant, charming, funny and inspiring - one of my all-time favorite teachers. May he rest in peace.

my best and dear friend departed much earlier than i expected!

i miss you, errol
yo are the a few people who understand who i am.
