The Honorable Ervin F. Kozicki, Veteran of the United States Marine Corp who served in the Korean War, entered eternal life on December 29, 2024, at the age of 94. Devoted husband of the late Dorothy Kozicki (nee Partyka); Beloved father of Mary (Craig) Dunham, Thomas Kozicki, Kathy (David) Kane, David (Kathy) Kozicki, and James (Barbara) Kozicki; Loving grandpa of Adam, Matt and Jason (Vanessa) Dunham, Michelle (John) Schenck, Lisa (Pete) Erikson, Victoria Kane, Rebecca Kozicki (Anthony Bonifay), Paige (Ryan) Biggs, Connor Kozicki, Alison and Rachel Kozicki; Adored great-grandpa of Evan, Ava, Owen, Aiden, and Gabe Schenck, Shawn, Kentrail, and Xavion Erikson, and Alexander Dunham, and Gabriel Bonifay; Fond uncle of many; Friend of Bill W. Retired after 43 years from the William Wrigley Jr. Co., former 3rd Ward Alderman and Mayor of Hickory Hills; former Fire Commissioner of Roberts Park Fire Protection District, former Commander of Hickory Hills VFW Post 4739, Life Member of VFW Johnson Phelps Post 5220 DAV Chapter, San Salvador Archangel Knights of Columbus Hickory Hills Chapter, St. Patricia Holy Name Society, Lector and Commentator at St. Patricia for 37 years. I worked with Erv at Wrigley Co Main Office for a number of years, he was a great person too work with very humerus. Ill never forget him and his wife had extra tickets for a show at Drury Lane they invited a few of us in his dept to go. I never forgot that. Rest In Peace
