Not sure what to say?

Woodlawn Elementary School, San Antonio, TX, September 1941 must have been the time when I first met Buddy Lyon--71 plus years ago. A few months before Pearl Harbor and World War II. Savings stamps, red points, blue points, gasoline rationing, scrap drives, air raid drills, and the war news on the radio.

If my memory is correct, Buddy was a lanky kid. If he wasn't in my first grade class, we were at some point in the same grade at elementary school, Horace Mann Junior High...

Thelma & family,

We will always remember Bud as the most kind, gracious and courageous man. In all of the years we met at the Cavallino and Pebble, we always felt a warm place in our hearts for Bud, Thelma, Bill, Nelda and the rest of the Ferrari "gang".

We will miss him dearly but never forget him in our prayers.

Dear Thelma,
I am thinking of you at this very sad time. Ken was very fond of you both He really apprecated all that Bud did for him What a kind and thoughtful man

I was very saddened to learn of Bud's passing. What a delightful, unassuming, generous and fun-loving man he was. I am glad to have been among those who were privileged to know him. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that I am thinking of all of you. Susan Lewinnek

You and Thelma were some of those special people that we took home in our hearts from Star Island. Your presence added so much to those visits and we feel your gentle spirit touched all you met on your journey.

Bud was such an exceptional person. You would not be aware of his many accomplishments by sitting with him. He was such a gentle, gracious man with a great sense of humor and so devoted to Thelma and his family. Thelma, Russ, Tina, Katie, Seth and children, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bud ... After a lifetime of achievement, you sought to be the best retail luxury automobile dealer in the world and succeeded. A class act, I will always remember you. Rest in Peace.

Oh, Bud, how I marveled at your mind, your thinking, your quiet presence, and your stature. Really... you made quite an impression on me! You shared your family with me/us/our family, and you were kind to us when we needed kindness. What a legacy you left for us to cherish. Thank you for the many gifts which you've given from your heart. Well done, good and faithul servant.
