Not sure what to say?

Julie my heart goes out to you and your family! I just found out that Ervin passed away from a mutual friend of ours Perry Tolbert. Ervin lit up a room with that smile and that smile will be truely missed. Gods love to you all!

Dear Mrs Ward and Family, I am so very sorry about your lost. I thank you all for all your kindness to me. Mr. Ward was a wonderful man and everyone knows he loved his family very much. He is at peace. I always enjoyed talking with him. He always had an encouraging word. I am sorry that I could not see past my own selfishness. I will never forget you or your family. God Bless you. "When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout...

Julie and family,
I was so very sorry to learn of your loss,Erv fought the good battle, but it was time for him to go home. Hard to believe we first met on Penn St., oh so long ago. We know he is at peace and you have an angel watching over your family. He was a great individual and he has left his mark on this earth. Love to you and the boys.

In Ervin I have always felt a warm friendliness that I never will forget. In his death, this earth is losing a "very good man" and a find example of a human. Your body became tired, it was time to close your eyes..Rest in Peace My Friend until you hear his call. My Love to Julie & Children

Dear Julie & Family,
I am soo sorry to hear about your loss. I grew up with Ervin in Philadelphia. Always a gentleman and one who I can honestly say a true, honest & respectable law enforcement officer. Do know he is at peace and in a much better place as he walks with GOD. May GOD continue to Bless and watch over you and your family.

I attended the funeral of a extremely loved guy yesterday. I was floored by the great comments everyone gave him. I met this gentleman in the summer of 1976 and have connected to him ever since then, but the love and respect we both have for each other has grown more than I ever though. Ervin P.Ward. I will miss you and always think about you and the time we spent as room-mates and friends, Julie and the boys will be able to handle everything, because you taught them.
Take care see you...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.what a wonderful neighbor.

Julie and family,

I like to think that Erv painted with flowers. I was always fascinated by the time, energy and creativity he put into his landscaping. We shared many a conversation about gardening over the years. In addition, I will always remember his great booming laugh. Sharing a laugh with Erv always brightened my day and lifted my spirits. He was a special man.

May his memory be a blessing,

Susan George and family

As I sit here at 11:30PM just thinking before I leave to pick-up Hank Powell AKA Hanky Love our Friend, we all entered Cheyney together in 1976 as freshmen. Hank U-City, Erv Olney me Bartram. Hank and I will travel to Harrisburg to see one of my best friends laid to his final resting place. I can't help but to think of those memories flooding back into my mind of those nights between the dorms, Yarnell, Robinson and King just trying to make something out of nothing, broke college students....
