Not sure what to say?

Since I am the widow of Erwin's first cousin, Donald Gerstenberger, I can speak for both of us. We both had deep affection for Erwin and Rosemarie, and we enjoyed many good times with them over the years. Erwin will be missed by all of us, but we know he is now in a better place, and the Dear Lord will bless him!

As I approach retirement age, 60'ish, I often think about Erwin and how he must have been getting his second wind when he was at the same stage. He must have lived in a different dimension than most of us. One where rest and "normal" speed was unheard of. He had more energy in his 70's than we're allotted in our 20's and 30's. Whatta Guy! He will serve as a benchmark for the rest of us. I am honored to have personally known and worked with him through the years. May you find peace in...

I knew Erwin just in passing and we talked. Never worked on a project with him, however, I know from our associaton what a gentleman and good Engineer he was. He was also very lucky, in winning a few drawings for misc. items as I recall. I will miss seeing him in the halls of Fluor in Greenville. Regards and condolences to the family.

I enjoyed working with Erwin. He was a friendly person with a true heart of GOLD. He will be missed.

I haven't seen Erwin in a long time, but have thought of the times he and I worked together often. He was a great guy and very good engineer!

It was my pleasure to have known such a nice person as I found Erwin to be. I teased him about never changing and that he must have even been old when he was a boy. He always got a big kick out of that. He will be missed by all of those who knew him at Fluor.

Erwin was a wonderful guy to know and work with.

Sorry for your loss. Erwin will truly be missed by all. He was one of the smartest men I worked with and one of the kindest. Erwin always made everyone smile.
My prayers are with the family.
