Not sure what to say?

Dear Vicky & Family,

I am deeply saddened by the death of my dear colleague, Win. We developed a close relationship working at Bruton. He was a great teacher, artist, joker and friend. I always kept the Sunday NYT magazine for him. He enjoyed doing the crossword puzzles. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I was fortunate enough to be one of Mr.Sapiro's band student's at Bruton High School. He was a great teacher and a great person. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Mrs. Sapiro,

I am saddened at the loss of a truly great man and mentor. I was only at Bruton High School for my Junior and Senior years of high school(1984-1986), but developed a deep respect for Mr. Sapiro. Even though I knew I wanted to be a teacher, he inspired me to be a great teacher. He was genuinely interested in his students and cared about our success. "Uncle Win" will always be my favorite band instructor, and I will try to live up to what he told me I could be. God...

Vicky, What a wonderful tribute to a brilliant, kind gentleman. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Win was a loving step-father to me. A caring and understanding man, smart, kind and compassionate. Win will be greatly missed. We shared many fun and funny family times together over the years. Win touched the lives of all who knew him. I'll miss you Win!

We met briefly last July when we went to Florida. It was a mini Camp Sharparoon reunion and I was so please to meet you. What a terrific sense of humor. You will be remembered with joy.

Win is still with us as we remember him in our daily life. So many memories and good times together. Thank you Win for being you!
