Not sure what to say?

The Spears family, we are very sorry to hear of your loss, Mr. Erwin was a good man and friend to our family that we all looked up to. There are so many memories of fun times at the Clermont lake house when we were kids. Our thoughts are with you.

JoAnn, did not know your dad lived in South Georgia. So sorry for your loss. You, Lamar and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

My father, Edward L. Bennett, yard master, retired from the rairoad in 1971, Mr. Spears was his boss. I remember him well. Daddy always called him "Spears."
In 1974, Mr. Spears bought a new railroad watch from Marshall's Jewelery. I bought his old watch for my husband, Roy H. Allred, who also worked for the railroad.
My son in law works for CSX, and I worked for CSX Intermodal for eight years.
My thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time.

E.L. Bennett's family remembers that Edward often spoke of Spears during his time with the railroad. We are sorry for your loss. They may be gone, but not forgotten.

Philip C Sawyer ACL - CSX
In loving memory. I will remember you always.
