DOAN, Miss Eryka Lee-age 26 passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 12, 2014 with 10:30 am family hour at Second Friendship Missionary Baptist Church 6046 Clio Rd., Mt. Morris, MI 48458. Pastor Rodney Williams officiating. The final resting place for Ms. Doan will be Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc, MI. Calling hours are 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Serenity Funeral Chapel.
On June 5, 2014, Miss Eryka Lee Doan became our angel above. Miss Doan resided in Flint, Michigan and was a member of South Flint Tabernacle. She enjoyed playing soccer with her daughter and hanging out with family and friends. Eryka had a very outgoing, vivacious personality which always showed in whatever she did.
Miss Eryka L. Doan is survived by: soul mate, Maurice ?Ace? Roberts and their beautiful daughter, Zakeyah Roberts; father, Maurice Doan; sisters, Shameka Doan, Megan Redmond, Chelsey Redmond; brothers, Recee Doan, Ryan Doan, Aaron Davidson; 9 nieces; 3 nephews, Avry Doan, Ayden Doan, Lewis Doan; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; mother-in-law, Cindy Roberts; a host of other relatives and friends including closest cousins, Jeannie Gassel and Frankie Lowe.
Miss Eryka Doan was preceded in death by: mother, Bonnie Doan; grandmothers, Clarice Doan and Bernice Carsten; uncle, Roger Carsten; and cousin, Remy Walters.
The family would like to express special thanks to Uncle Mike Doan and the numerous friends and family that loved and spent time with Eryka. Eryka will live on in our hearts.

To all of Erykas' family and friends........I didn't know her, but know her dearest close friend. She looks and sounded like a precious person, and such great smile and hopes.........Eryka left many quite young,,,,,,it breaks many hearts including me....I know her child etc. will dearly miss her so. I just wanted to reach out and let you know how sorry I am and if all our tears could build a stairway they would bring her back.......Too many young ones these days leaving us...Please all who...
