Not sure what to say?

Marvin and I were saddened to hear about the passing of Sis. Casimere. You have been in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Kay and all of the Casimere family,

I was so very sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Mama Casimere was such an important part of my childhood. I remember her quiet, serene nature, no matter how many kids were running around in and outside the house. I remember the smell of gumbo on the stove, the afternoon snacks we would line up for, the sound of her purse when she would dig around to pull out her keys, her listening no matter how rambling or uninteresting the story I...

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Our family just found out about the death of Mother Casimere on April 17th. Words cannot express how we feel about her. We all called one another, surprised that we missed it! Sarah said she doesn't gossip, so we just missed out! Mother Casimere was just that,a mother, to all seven of us Tramble children. We discussed how she helped us in so many many good ways when we all attended Ephesians. She was definely a concerned youth...

May God comfort the Casimere Family in this difficult time and God will give each of you strength in your loss. It was a privilege and a blessing to our family to know Sister Essie Casimere and her family for over 50 years.

I was so saddened to read of the passing of Sister Casimere but know she is in the presence of her Savior. I pray for everyone left to mourn--her family and especially devoted husband, Brother Casimere and her Shiloh family. We love you and will be praying for you.

Mrs Casimere was my mother Margaret Hampton's best friend! Mr & Mrs Casimere were there for my family when my father Edward died in 1980, I was 10yrs old at the time and I still remember how they both made me feel! Safe, Loved,& special. She was classy, sweet, beautiful & my entire Family Loved her! To Mr. Casimere fear not, one day you will meet your Queen again! Love Tim my wife Sarah and our sons Gabriel(20yrs old) & Elijah(16yrs old) Hampton & My mother Margaret Hampton

Essie at the celebration of her and Mr. C's 60th wedding anniversary in 2007

Essie and Mr. C. with copies of their memoir, 2007.

I was privileged to work with Essie and Cornelius on their book of life stories and family history. Essie was sweetness itself -- so quiet, modest, and kind. It was delightful to hear her reminiscences of her simple, happy childhood in Tulsa; her move to California at age 14; her joyful marriage to Mr. C. at age 18; and the decades of childrearing, community service, work, and worship that followed. Throughout her life, she was devoted, steadfast, and deeply committed to her Christian values,...

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
