Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Patty and I are sad to hear of Mrs. Essie's passing. She was a pillar of Christianity in Gum Branch during my formulative years. Our Condolences to the family, especially my friend Johnnie Faye. God bless you all.

Just want yall to know you are in our hearts and prayers. Aunt Essie was very dear and I know you will miss her. We know she is now at home with Uncle Hampton the rest of our loved ones that have gone on ahead. One day we will see them again.Sorry we can't come but we are thinking of each of you.

To the Smiley Family, regret reading the obituary of Ms. Essie. I have many fond memories of her as growing up as a young boy near the Smiley Cross Roads. She lived a full life, and I am honored to have known her. May God bless and keep you during this time and the days ahead.

What sweet memories we have of this dear lady. Her legacy is big ~ her long life was well spent. Her dear family will not be the same without her presence in their lives. With Our Thoughts and Love,
Charlie and Brenda Tootle ( Roswell, Ga.)

Thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone one of you. Take this time to cherish all of the memories that she has left behind and comfort each other knowing that a wonderful family has created by her. Heaven has received a beautiful angel.

Gary and I were so honored to have met your precious Mother and Grandmother. We are so sad to hear of her passing but know that Heaven's much richer!! God Bless You All!!
