Such a wonderful lady, I will always remember how sweet she was with me, welcoming me into her family with so much love. Will be miss!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with my cousins Stanley and Willie and the rest of the family. Essie has been in my thoughts, I feel blessed for the love and honesty she shared, I always knew where I stood with her and she would tell the Truth even when it was not popular; I mean she would even tell on herself...lol She taught me how to cook with ginger and curry and make "hindu chicken". The memories are precious and I will cherish them all.

One of my favorite people! RIP!

I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Essie. She always put a smile on my face. Such an eloquent woman who loved her family deeply. I will miss my friend and her beautiful smile. Another one of God's angels.
