Esta Kincaid

Esta was a lovely, lively, spirited lady, always interested in what we younglings were up to, patiently listening and quickly absorbing our explanations. She carried herself with poise and confidence even during the years she couldn't walk very well.

I remember driving her to one event and being nervous that the 60-year gap in our ages would prove awkward, but talking to her then was as easy as talking to a friend from college.

You'll be missed this Thanksgiving, Esta.
