Ettie, as she was known by my parents, Muriel and Harold Jacobs was a neighbor to us in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was a kind soul and always happy. Muriel and Harold spent many happy times with Ettie and Jack there. I remember a story that my mother told me about Harold visiting Julian's studio and did not realize he was walking over wet paint on a canvass that was laid out on the floor. He left his footprints on it and I wonder to this day if Julian ever left those footprints and made...

So sorry to hear of Esta's passing. I wish I had known that she and Jack were living in Middletown - My mom is Roslyn Theodore (Ethel Schnabel Newman's daughter). Ethel was Jack's aunt, so we are cousins to you and we live in CT too.
