Estela M. Renteria

Estela M. Renteria, 80, of Dumas, passed away on May 10, 2015.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Lucio Moreno and Rev. Byron Potter officiating. Burial will be at the Hansford Cemetery. Arrangements made by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Estela was born December 14, 1934 in Los Fresnos, Texas to Nicholas Guadalupe and Juana (Hernandez) Renteria. She worked in nursing and was a member of the Baptist Church. Estella loved gardening, collecting roosters, crocheting, sewing, and loved to go to casinos.

Estela is preceded by her parents, 5 brothers, and a son-in-law.

Estela is survived by 3 daughters, Lydia Rodriguez of Phoenix, AR, Nancy Castaneda and Jesse of Brownfield, TX, Linda Gongora and Jair of Flower Mound, TX; 4 sons, Tiodulo Rodriguez of Dumas, TX, Joe Louis Rodriguez and Linda of Perryton, TX, Danny Rodriguez of Peoria, AZ, and Angel Rodriguez and Lorena of Tomball, TX; 2 brothers, Martin Renteria of Spearman, TX, and Andy Renteria of Greenville, TX; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
