Ester Arzio

Dear Family,

I was graduated from ST. Thomas Aquinas School in 1957 and St. Maria Goretti H.S. in 1961. I remember Ester as a fun-loving, caring person. She will be missed. You have my sympathy and especially my prayers.

It is with deep sadness that I heard of Ester's passing. Ester and I went to St. Thomas Aquinas school together and in 2002 when we had a 45 year reunion, we contacted Ester. I wish she could have attended the reunion as it was a wonderful time for all. All of us schoolmates of Ester will keep her and her family in our prayers.

I just hung up the phone with you a few minutes ago. I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of your Mother's passing. I apologize for not calling sooner or attending the service as I was in DC.

I don't know if any of you remember me, but I was a friend of Ester's many years ago. She patronized the Ritnerhouse Hair Salon on 12th and Ritner Streets a long time ago. All of us at the shop used to call her "Teri," taken from the last three letters of her first name. She never liked her given name, so I suggested that we call her Teri and it stuck. We had so much fun together, but lost contact some time ago. I tried looking Teri up a few...
