Ester Ann Kersey Cook, 79, passed from this life on Sunday January 13, 2019 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the firstborn child of Richard and Mary Yarbrough Kersey making her entrance on April 23, 1939 in the little town of Wheatley, Arkansas.


As she grew up in this small community she went to school and graduated from Wheatley High School. In time she was married to Frank Cook and they began a life together spanning several decades and producing 4 children.


Ester enjoyed making a home for Frank and her children tending to their needs. She was a longtime member of Broadmoor Baptist Church where she was loved very much. In the last several years her health began to decline and after a recent medical event she entered her Heavenly Home.


She is survived by: Son: Bill (Kristen Hernandez) Cook of Brinkley, Daughters: Cindy (Scott Watkins) Partridge of Thomaston, GA, Theresa (Ben) Speidel of Brinkley, and Sherry Y’Barbo of Brinkley, Brothers: Leroy (Gay) Kersey of Wheatley, Bud (Betty) Kersey of Corpus Christie, TX, Johnny Ray (Myra) Kersey of Forrest City, and Richard (Lisa) Kersey of Heber Springs, Sisters: Gladys (Ben) Churchwell of Brinkley, Margie Ervin of Brinkley, and Betty Lou Stacy of Louisville, KY, 12 Grandchildren, and 17  Great Grandchildren.


Visitation 11:00 AM, Services 2:00 PM both Wednesday 1/16/2019 at Broadmoor Baptist Church, of Brinkley, Arkansas.


Interment: Posey Cemetery, Wheatley, Arkansas
