Very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I visited her many times in Bozeman with my mother, Florence Epperson, and remember your family visits to our home in Gardiner. She was a very nice lady. I will advise the rest of our family of your loss.

I was fortunate to know your sweet mother through our written correspondence and on a few fun outings together when she visited Washington. We laughed alot and told each other stories of our lives. I will never forget her kindness to me.

I wish to extend my sympathy to Duane and Dianne on the passing of your mother.

She was a neighbor and my seventh and eighth grade teacher. I remember most her love for Montana history and how she transferred it to me.

Those of us that went to the Edgar School were very fortunate to have great teachers, and Ester Barr was one of the best.
