Esther was born on April 1, 1925 and passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Esther grew up in Quincy and attended Quincy High School. She married Harry, the love of her life, in 1946 and became a Navy wife, moving around the country while raising her three children. Calling hours for close friends and family will be Friday, July 26, 2019 from 11:00-12:00 at Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, followed immediately by a brief graveside service at St. Columba Cemetery, Brown's Lane, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Saint Elizabeth Manor, 1 Dawn Hill Road, Bristol, RI, 02809, or to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.

My deepest sympathy to you and Lane and your children. I had a knee replacement 2 weeks ago, and was unable to attend. Thank you for her wonderful tribute. It was so nice to learn what an interesting and fulfilled life she enjoyed. I'm sure her greatest joy was time spent with you. Treasure all your memories. Until we meet I send you all my love.

I met your mother when I went to work at PCU, where she made me feel very welcome working with the Board of Directors. Being a former navy wife we seemed to form a bond about military life and her love for Her Harry. I so enjoyed talking with her and learning about her life Experiences! I know she must be at peace now that she is with Harry,
