Esther Hackerman

In my mind I hear Esther quote Rick Hanson about the brain's negativity bias: "velcro for the bad and teflon for the good." Esther was brilliant at seeing the "good" in each person she came in contact with and in elucidating the positive in such a way that people who interacted with her ended up crafting their own personal "velcro for the good." My heart goes out to her entire family, who she loved dearly.
