I will never forget the day I passed by Esther's home, and saw the "Vote Democrat" sign on the window. I told (yelled at, really) my friend: "Stop the car! I have found my new place!" This was when I was moving from California to Dallas, and this cute old “hard core Democrat” lady made me comfortable to move, and welcomed me with open arms like an adoptive grandmother to her wonderful building...
