One of the grand ladies of Navy Football. She and Rip will be forever in our thoughts and prayers.

I remember going it work with my mom and Mrs. Miller would make sure my mom would fix me breakfast. My mom worked for the Miller's for many of years. I'm sorry for your lost.

Our family was sadden by the passing of Es. She was a wonderful and faithful friend to our mother, Mary Melvin. Her humor and stories always kept us entertained when ever she was around. Our thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

I had the pleasure of knowing both Es and Rip when my husband was on duty at the Naval Academy.....back in the late 60's.
It's been my fortune to be her neighbor at Ginger Cove for many years.

Heaven now has another angel!!

Farewell to the "Grande Dame" of the U.S. Naval Academy and Annapolis who was larger than life and a joy to know. We will always remember Esther's 100th birthday celebration when she shared one of her secrets to a long life: have a good belly laugh every day. We will miss you, Dear Es. Heaven has gained a high-spirited and sublime soul. Rest in peace.

Dear Bruce and family,
Our hearts are with you with the loss of your grandmother. She must have been a grand person.
Our blessings and Prayers,
