I had the honor of working with Esther 42 years ago at the age of 19 at Bergner's. We were filers in the credit department; bless her heart, she was always, always smiling and never had an unkind word to say about anyone.I have often thought of Esther. She was a remarkable, strong woman.

I never knew Mrs. Patay nor even heard of her until reading the obituary in the paper. What a rich history she must have had and how interesting it had to have been to be her children or grandchildren and hear the stories of her life. I am sure you were all truly blessed and will miss her dearly. Regards to your family.
