I am so sorry to hear of Esther´s passing. I met her three years ago on a flight to San Diego. She was sitting next to me, and we became fast friends discussing books. We continued to communicate by email. Her last email told me about her wonderful 90th birthday celebration in Colorado. What a vibrant person! I really am saddened by the end of our friendship, but I am so happy to have known her.
