Not sure what to say?

Esther was a large part of my life growing up in NY and while living in Southern California. Her humor was always on point and her unconditional love meant the world to me. I'm grateful for the many fond memories I have of her during our time spent together together in NY, FL, CA, and MA. She was always the life the party and deservedly so. She was loved by many. May she rest in peace.

Wendy, you know my heart goes out to you and your family. I know how much you will miss her, not only as your mom but best friend. She was a women ahead of her times and always a joy to be with. She always shared great life advice when we were kids, if only we knew then! Just know I am thinking of you as you go through the next few difficult weeks! I know Milt is waiting for her and they will go through the next adventure together again, at last!

There are people who come and go through our lives, who we stretch and strain to remember- not so with Esther. When you met her, you remembered her sincere curiosity about you; you recalled her humor and her warmth forever. She inspired those around her to be better, to do better, to treat one another with respect and compassion. She will be sorely missed by a world in need of people like Esther Wittner.❤

Dear Wendy,

I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.
Esther was a shining star of the Keepsake Floor.
She was beautiful, always dressed to the nines
(she told me, many a time, that she never wore pants) and very witty. I really enjoyed bantering with her and both of us laughing.
I know, all too well, what a tremendous loss this is for you and your family. I do hope you'll always take comfort in knowing that you were a loving, caring daughter to your Mom right to the...

Farewell Esther, you were part of my wonderful childhood growing up a block away, never a dull moment. Thank you for being one of my neighbors who kept an eye on all the kids in the neighborhood embodying "it takes a village". Rest in peace and know you are loved.

Esther was so loved. It was an honor and a joy to be part of her family for over 40 years. We love her and will miss her.

Esther was always a joy to be around. She was always smiling, had a joke or a comeback in a funny but nice way. Happy to have met and call her "Friend". May you rest in peace. I'm sure you are keeping the Angel's in stitches.

I was so sorry to hear that Esther had passed away. My mother (Doris Gass) enjoyed spending time with her: playing RummyCube was a favorite! I, too, enjoyed talking with her, hearing about her pride & joy, her family! Seeing you at Eisenberg often and the annual events showed how fond all of you were of her...she was the queen of the family! My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.

Your Mom befriended my mother (Dorothy Swartz) when she moved into the Eisenberg. My mom so enjoyed her company. It was a pleasure to get to know your Mom. She had a wonderful personality and a great dense of humor. May the wonderful memories you have help comfort you at this time.
