Not sure what to say?

I'm just seeing Ray's obituary. I worked with him as a supervising teacher at Rosewood Elementary. I was just sharing a story with a friend yesterday when we were reminiscing about our interns. I shared with her about the day when Ray asked me how I liked the intern that he had specially selected for me. When I responded that I hadn't been assigned o e, he headed straight to the office to find out why she had been reassigned. Within a couple of days, I had a new intern. Loved the way he went...

Susan, I am so sorry for your loss, but I am so glad that you have the blessed hope of seeing our savior and our loved ones in Heaven. You and Ray set the bar high for loving each other and your children. I intended to be at the service for Ray. However, this past Friday I learned that I had COVID for the fourth time I in spite of taking the vaccine. I am still quarantined because I have not tested negative.

We are so glad we had a chance to get to know this kind gentleman. It isn´t often that you meet someone like Ray. He was so genuine and we are thankful for the partnership we shared with his family.

Ray was such a friendly man, always putting people at ease. He was a great teacher who let the learning grow out of respectful discussion. A good man husband, father, grandfather teacher and friend.

Dear Susan and family, we are sorry to hear of Ray's passing. He was a good man, well respected, and a steady worker for his family, others, and the Lord. You all will continue to be in our prayers, Darrell and Karen McDaniel

Ms Susan, My sincere condolences for you and your family. I miss you.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
