Not sure what to say?

To Ethan´s family- I doubt you will ever read this, given that is has been twelve years since Ethan´s untimely passing, yet I felt compelled today to dwell on his memory for a while. I never met any of you all, but I had the honor of being Ethan´s reading partner during my time at Huebner Elementary on what I seem to remember was a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Ethan and I shared a special bond forged by the heavy and unwanted burdens we each carried: I was born with spastic diplegia, a type of...

Sending many prayers your way. I will always remember Ethan for his sweet voice and smile. As time passes may God fill your hearts with peace. All my love....

I've never met your son but I heard he was an amazing little boy. My thoughts and prayers go out you and the family.

I have only recently heard Ethan's story--but what am amazing little boy he was--I am touched by his spirit and the love you had for him. May God be with you all. Rachelle(Spokane, WA)

I never met your son but, being a Huebner mom, I crossed paths with him on many occasions. He always brought a smile to my face. His strength and optimism shown through every little inch of him. His tiny voice made me feel warm inside. What a spirit! You were indeed blessed to have had him and he was obviously blessed to have had you. And now, he is in the loving arms of God.
Our family will be praying for your comfort and peace.

I had the honor of meeting your precious son Ethan last year at the Methodist where I work. Although the time I got to know him was brief, he had a huge impact upon me. It is hard to put it into words exactly, but I was immediately struck by his beautiful spirit, his amazing positivity, and - of course - his irresistible smile. There is much that we could all learn from Ethan. My prayers have been and will continue to be with your family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet little angel. My daughter is a third grader at Huebner Elementary and she was very fond of Little Ethan as she called him. I am praying for you and your family. May God give you the strength and comfort that you need.

May God give you and your family His perfect peace during this difficult time. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn't know you or your precious Ethan, but I read about you on Lorraine's blog about Chrissie, and I prayed for your family as she posted updates about the situation. I cannot imagine the pain of your loss, and I know that nothing I say here can really take that away. Please know that you are in my prayers, and I hope that does give you some small sense of comfort.
