Seale Funeral Service - Denham Springs Obituary

Ethan Anthony Strahan, resident of Central, went to be with Jesus on Saturday May 19, 2018. Born January 14, 2014, Ethan was a vibrant, affectionate child who loved Mickey Mouse and Spiderman and had plans to become a firefighter. He lit up every room with his smile and his songs. Ethan touched everyone in his community during his short time with us and we will forever miss the light and joy he brought to our lives. His family and friends take comfort in the knowledge that he is now in Heaven with his God. Ethan is survived by his parents Carley Trim Strahan and Erik Strahan and his sister Addison, all of Central, his Grandparents Valerie and Mark Gill of McComb, MS, and Lari Strahan Waters and her husband Doug, of Baton Rouge. Services are to be held at Zoar Baptist Church, located at 11848 Hooper Road. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, May 23, 2018 from 5:00-9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 10:00 am until Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. A graveside service for friends and family will be held immediately thereafter at Greenoaks Memorial Park (9595 Florida Boulevard).

Not sure what to say?

We were so saddened by the loss of your precious little boy. Keeping you guys in our thoughts and prayers as y'all walk through the dark days ahead. May God wrap his loving arms around y'all and give you peace that surpasses all understanding.

So sorry to hear of Ethan's death. May you find some comfort in all the good memories. There are no words to ease the pain of the loss of a child.

The happiness and joy in this child shines through like a beacon on a hill. Though I did not have the privilege of ever meeting Ethan I felt I knew him the moment I looked into his eyes.
I know your heart aches and your arms feel empty but one day the circle will no longer be broken. You will again be a complete circle of love in the arms of God with your little angel Ethan. May you find peace in your warm, sweet memories of Ethan.

Huey and I are in shock about what your family is going through. We cannot begin to imagine what you are going through. I know all of you are heart broken beyond measure. Just don't take your eyes off of God. Our prayers are with all three of you. Carley we both met Erik at therapy but did not know he was your husband. Stay strong in God's love.

Eric,
I am so saddened to hear the news of the passing of your beautiful son. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
