Not sure what to say?

I learned of Dr. Barnoon's death just hours ago, and I write this through tears. She was my Doctor and my Friend for 20 years. I loved her dearly. She was a rare soul who invited us, her patients, into her heart. On my last visit with her, I felt the need to hug her, I guess in gratitude. (Of course, she had hugged me previously when I was struggling.) She gave to me her usual gentle smile and warm embrace. I did not know she was ill, and I did not know that that would be our last encounter...

It brings me great sorrow to hear of Dr. Barnoon's passing. She was a wonderful physician and knew and cared for her patients. My thoughts and prayers are with her family in this time of grief.

I had the honor of being one of Dr. Barnoon’s patients for nearly 20 years. I was devastated to find about her recent passing. She was one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. She was a very rare person and clearly she touched many people in her (too) short life. My heart goes out to her family, friends and fellow patients for the loss. The world is a much better place for having Dr. Barnoon in it, even if the time was too short.

I was so saddened and shocked by the death of such a wonderful and compassionate physician. She was always there when I needed a question answered always with such caring. I will truly miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Dr. Barnoon death. I was her patience for a short time through Dr. Baez. She was a very nice doctor, and I will miss her very much.

I have only just heard of Dr. Ethel's passing and I am shocked and saddened. She was a wonderful woman, a kind doctor and a friend. She took time with her patients and talked not just about what they were there for but about their lives. I will miss our conversations, I will miss her. She is safe. My prayers are for her family.

I am deeply sorry at the passing of Dr. Barnoon. When my mamogram came back questionable she pushed me to go to an Oncologist. It turned out to be cancer. Two operations and five years later I am still cancer free. God Bless Dr. Barnoon

I loved Dr. Barnoon, she was simply the best ob/gyn ever and the best doctor a woman could want. She helped me through some really rough times. My heart goes out to her family, friends, and other patients, like myself. There is no other Ethel Barnoon.

I was so saddened after receiving news. of Dr. Barnoon's passing. She was a pioneer for a "new era" of GYN, providing an impeccable degree of understanding, gentleness and professionalism to all the women she served. I feel very blessed & grateful for having her as my doctor for the past 18 years. I will miss her dearly as will many others. My deepest sympathies to her family, friends, co-workers, and to all of those she touched.

A beautiful person left this world May 10, 2006,...
