Not sure what to say?

I only remember that Ethel came to our house to interview me for Camp Farrington. I was so nervous! I had to make a good impression to be accepted My cousin, Lenny Weil, who's family lived in the downstairs apartment of our two-family house, went to Farrington for a few summers. That's how we know about the camp. He was to go again that summer. We were as close as brother and sister. How cool to be at camp with him. He was always my friend and protector. I thought we would see each...

Hi Lucy & Linda,

Let me express my condolences upon my learning of the death of your Mom.

I was first a Farrington camper from 1961 - 1963 but my best memories were from the years 1965 -1967 when I worked with Ethel in the office taking whatever title was assigned to me - Co-Op, CIT, CA, and working on the books of the canteen. It was my first accounting experience and these days I am a CPA/PFS so I have to think that Ethel was one of my early influences in deciding my...

Lucy and Linda,

It's been 50+ years since I've seen you but still have such fond memories of you and my days at Camp Farrington. So sorry to hear about your mom -- she was a great lady.

Regards to your cousin Judy.

How sad after all these years of searching to finally find you all. My name is Lorna O'Farrell, I went to Camp Farrington in the 60's and my Mother Gladys O'Farrell was the Camp Nurse and my father Francisco O'Farrell helped out at the Camp. There isn't a day that goes by I haven't mentioned something about my experience there, I grew up there and learned so much. Please! My parents are still alive although in their 70's and it would make their day to hear from someone who remembers. ...

Linda and Lucy,
So many memories come flooding back....wonderful to know your mom lived such a long full life. My thoughts are with you at this sad and difficult time.

The members of the Philarmonic who lived in Teaneck and surrounds has been on my mind because of my Uncle Myor Rosen who lives in Fort Lauderdale.

My Aunt Esther and Uncle Myor told my late mother, whose name was Ethel, about your parents and Camp Farrington. My late sister Marsha and I attended the camp in 1961 and 1962.

It was a wonderful place made more so by your wonderful family and especially your mother. Ethel Borodkin was one of the kindest, most loving women I've...

Linda: My deepest sympathy to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

My condolences to my dear friend/adopted daughter Sue and her family; many of you I've met throughout the years. I've heard much about Ethel and how special she was. I hope you all are able to find comfort with each other, as well as in the fact that this wonderful, loving person is with and part of each of you.
