Ethel May Downey

Dearest Downey Family, I was so saddened reading this. I remember so well all the time I spent on West St with your family. All the little ones running/crawling around. Your Mom always in control.it had been many yrs since I had seen her and yet she looked exactly the same. Hang onto your memories -I´m sure you all have tons. Your Mom is happy being reunited with your Dad and Ethel I´m sure. You´re all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Downey´s passing. As a boy growing up friends with Johnny on West Street she was always a kind and comforting presence. I am grateful for all she did for me as a child and my thoughts are with her wonderful family in this difficult time.

Mom, I will miss you every day. Thank you for all your love, caring and guidance. You are the wind beneath my wings and I will forever be grateful for all you gave all of us. I love you, Susan XXXOOO
