Ethel was one of the "seasoned" and experienced nurses who trained me as a nurse in the OR. She was excellent,intelligent and kind, a "go to" person for sure.

I am so sorry to hear about Ethel! I worked with her in the OR at Rutland Hospital from 1986-1991. She was an amazing nurse and an even more amazing friend and woman. She was tough, but I grew to appreciate and learn so much from her. We laughed a lot, even cried some. But I knew that I was learning from the best. Some of my best memories of my experiences in the OR were with her. She will be missed! My sincerest condolences to your whole family.

Dear Ethel's Family,
Please accept my sincere sympathies in the passing of your Mother. I had the honor of knowing your Mom for many years, as I to am an RN at Rutland Regional Medical Center. I worked on Radial II, the SICU and ICU. The OR nurses would come to the unit to do shave preps to the preop patients back in the 70's. This is how I met her. Always friendly and with a smile.
