GRAFTON: Ethel S. (Streeter) Fleming, 102, passed away June 13, 2009 in Autumn Village Healthcare in Worcester. Her husband Philip Fleming passed in 1985. She is survived by many nieces and nephews including John and Eva Kiley of Worcester who were her caregivers along with many great nieces, nephews and friends. She was born June 8, 1907 in Worcester, raised there the daughter of the late William and Adelaide (Baker) Streeter. Mrs. Fleming also lived in Millbury for 13 years, Grafton for 32 years and Tampa Florida for 20 years after retiring returning to Worcester in 1989. She was a bookkeeper in The Records Department at Grafton State Hospital for 20 years and a member of the MA Retired State Employees Association. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 3704, Memphis, TN 38103, a facility Mrs. Fleming truly loved. Funeral & Calling HoursAll are invited to calling hours at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. North Grafton Monday June 15th from 6 to 8 pm. She will then be cremated following her wishes. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday June 20th at 10: am in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 17 Waterville St. North Grafton. Her ashes will then be laid to rest with her husband in St. Philip's Cemetery in Grafton.
