Ethel Mae Fritz, 91, of Dade City, FL, formerly of Bangor, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Gulfside Regional Hospice, Zephryhills, FL. Born: Ethel was born in Ackermanville, PA on July 19, 1922, a daughter of the late John and Ida (Cope) Fritz. Personal: She was employed as a seamstress at various garment mills in the Slate Belt area, until retiring in 1984. She was a 1940 graduate of Bangor High School and a member of UNITE, the garment workers union. Survivors: Ethel is survived by a daughter, Diane Sabatine and her husband Phillip W. Sabatine, 1 grandson Brian Bush, 1 great granddaughter Chrystal Bush, and 1 step grandson Wade Sabatine. Ethel was preceded in death by two brothers Edgar and Kenneth Fritz. Services: Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 10:30 am in the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, www.gaffneyparsons.com, 314 S. First Street, Bangor, PA. Burial will be in Plainfield Cemetery, Pen Argyl, PA.
Rest in Peace Ethel, I will always remember your laughter when My mother, your cousin, and I used to come visit. It was always a pleasant visit. My deepest sympathy to the family.
