Ethel Plaisance McAllister, 89, died January 13, 2021, of Cancer with her loved ones by her side. Wife of the late Holley McAllister. She is survived by her 2 daughters Caffie Hertz (late Darryl) and Kathleen Doming [(late Michael) and companion of Monte Jo Davidson]. Beloved grandmother of Monica Perrin, Morgan Perrin Jr., Holley Foret (John), Allie Cochran (Jessie) and Callie Kerner (Leo). Great-grandmother of Morgan Perrin III (Lauren), Matthew Perrin (Amanda) and Myles Perrin (Alayne), Abigail Foret (Blaze Plaisance), Harley Foret, Kelsey Gauthreaux (Brant), Bailee Kerner (Dylan Merrell), Leo Kerner Jr., McKena Cochran and Jessie Cochran Jr. Great-great grandmother of Chase, Bella, Morgan IV, Madeleine, and Mattie. Daughter of the late Euzebe and Lionel Dufrene Plaisance, sister of Jacob Plaisance (late Marion), Gideon Plaisance, Rita Boudreaux (Nathan) and the late Verly Borras and Rachel Plaisance (late Ovide). She loved the games of billiards (pool) and bean bag baseball. She had a green thumb, and always kept a beautiful garden. The Family would like to express a special thanks to Fr. Luke Nguyen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, Westwego, LA 70094. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until service time. A rosary will begin shortly after 10:00. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
