Our children have lost a very gifted author. Thank you Ethel for sharing your gift, the art of writing. My deepest sympathies go out to all of her beloved family. Ethel will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her personally or who had the pleasure of reading her stories.

Hearing Ethel's name after many years of not being in touch reminded me of my delight in her as a person and in her writing, especially her Once upon a Time Saints

I will miss this wise, witty and delightful lady who brought so much joy and laughter into our lives....
