Everyone loved Aunt Ethel. She meant so much to so many! Always a joy to be with and talk with. She had such a zest of life. What a good bright mind. She always was up to something wonderful or fun! Love was her best quality! She was interested in everyone and she just loved on who ever she was with. What a blessing to her family. My condolences to the family and all of us who had known her.. May the Lord Jesus extended His strength and mercy to you at this time of great loss. Love ...

My parents have lived next to Mrs. Simone for nearly 40 years, and she was my neighbor for about 20 of those. The best thing about her was that she was always a positive person, there was always a smile on her face and she was genuinely a loving lady who would do anything for you. She will be missed.

Aunt Ethel was a Huge Impact on My life growing up. She was sincere, sweet, loving, caring, energetic, adorable, an incredible baker, the list can go on and on. But the one quality that sticks out the most. Was she had an incredible Smile. Ear to ear. Always laughing, smiling. Talking, kissing. Eating. She was beyond welcoming to anyone and everyone. I will never forget about My Aunt Ethel. I only wish I spent more time with her... I love you Aunt Ethel.. This reunion won't be the same...

Monday evening (August 31, 2015).. we were at Aunt Ethel's bedside.. I told her that Cookie and I had to leave. As she grabbed my hand back, I said "I love you more than you love me.."(And I said it first) (( A long standing term of endearment in our family with this reply )) Aunt Ethel said, "I love you more.." We, everyone was her "Sweetie" and she is ours. I'll see you in my dreams till we meet again. xoxo I love you!
