Not sure what to say?

More than 50 years of memories and
how can you put in words what the
Skinners have ment to us?

The influence they had on young
preachers lives will be felt for
many years to come. They set a
pattern for us to follow. They
always showed interest in and concern as to how they could be of
help to those of us who were following in their footsteps. They
prayed for us daily and let us know
that they did so. How thoughtful
of them to...

My memories of Brother and Sister Skinner go back to when I was just a little girl at Gaines Camp. Marsha Fay and I would play together, and we always thought it was a big deal that our names were so similar.

Later when Brother and Sister Skinner pastored my church, I learned to love and appreciate them in a new way.

I will always cherish the special memories I have of Sister Skinner. My mom (Helen Davis) counted her as a dear friend, and I did, too. I will miss...

I have so many memories of Mrs. Skinner. She was such a good musician. I loved to hear her play duets with Rev. Skinner. I remember them singing "Searching for the Stone" and also the "Grumblers" song. She was a dear friend to my mother, Helen Davis. I always thought that she looked beautiful whenever I saw her.
I remember her prayers and her wonderful example. I want to express my love and sympathy to Darlene, Marcia, and their families.

My family has been truly blessed to have had the privilage to have known Rev and Mrs Skinner for most of my life as our former pastor and wife at Evergreen Valley. Although Mrs Skinner has departed from this world and from us, we know that one day we will see her again in Heaven along with Rev Skinner. I will always treasure playing the clarinet with them during offertory. God bless the family and give them comfort during this difficult time.
