Marie and I met when her family moved to Concord from Roslindale, just before our freshman year at CHS. We quickly became friends after being introduced by her uncle Charlie who lived next door to me. Through the years we remained friends and often got together with our husbands, playing bridge -- the "girls against the boys."

Since she moved to Maine, we have kept in touch and she frequently made trips back to Bedford, having recently planned one for this spring.

Marie and I became good friends at the silver sneakers class. We spent most class times gossiping and laughing. We would occasionally go to lunch after class so we could continue chatting---and laughing, and, of course, we never failed to order a Bloody Mary. At our age, our list of friends dwindles. - we really can't afford to lose one, especially one as dear as Marie. I will miss her very much,

My Aunt Marie was my mother's younger sister, and through the years there were few holidays or events in our small family that we did not share. We cherish those memories. To my cousins Elaine, Carol and Marc and their families We offer our deepest and heartfelt condolences. We were blessed to have had the opportunity to see her in April. She will be missed.
