Dr. Ethel Marie Wheeler

Mrs. Wheeler was my first grade teacher at Wicoff Elementary in 1976-1977. She was the most dedicated, warm, engaging teacher I've ever had. She worked tirelessly to be sure every student was included, and that their individual and unique strengths were highlighted and developed. I realize that I've missed her passing by two decades, but I am no less saddened by the news.
